Here's my most recent finished piece I've been working on. I started this two years ago with just the Camellia blooms. I used photos from a trip at the Memphis Botanical Garden as reference.
Occasionally, I begin a painting without a clear idea of what I want to create. It continues to develop over time. I have repainted this specific piece so many times that it now has multiple layers.
